How to Care for your nails after acrylics.

We love a good stiletto and coffin nail set…but sometimes you gotta let your short nail girl phase shine through. This goes for removal of ANY nail enhancements whether it be gel, shellac etc.

Step 1: Keep your nails short! It is much better to cut the growth and start fresh.

Step 2: File it to your natural shape. This will prevent any corners snagging, and allow your nails free room to grow.

Step 3: Keep them Hydrated. Healthy skin around the nails promote healthy nail growth. Use lots of cuticle oil, moisturizer and drink lots of water.

Step 4: Nail hardener or base coat. Apply everyday for at least two weeks, do not let it chip off. after a couple weeks you can reduce the application or even use it as a top coat for your regular polish. You will eventually see your nails come back to life.
