Tips for faster hair growth!

If there is one thing I have noticed with covid is there has been A LOT of babies. Congratulations to all the beautiful mamas out there! I know post partum hair is a real thing so I thought I would put together some tips for faster, natural hair growth.

  1. Clean & Stimulate your scalp - you gotta start at the source, the scalp. Stimulate the blood flow and allow oxygen and nutrients to the hair follicle using a shampoo brush! You can also use a tea tree oil shampoo and conditioner.

  2. Protect it from physical damage - anything that can cause breakage example; rough brushing, brushing when your hair is wet, tying your hair too tight etc.

  3. Keep it moisturized - Our hair is probably the most dry part of our body. Dry hair turns to brittle hair, brittle hair means breakage. This leave in conditioner is my favourite.

  4. Avoid Heat damage - Iā€™m sure we all know this already, I know its hard at least use a heat protectant!

  5. Get regular trims - Just like in life, the only way to grow is to cut off the dead ends/relationships that are no longer serving you. Split ends slowly split up to the shaft of the hair, resulting in breakage and slower hair growth. Book your appointments here.

I hope these tips helped! Of course these will work for ANYONE who is trying to grow their hair not just the mamas out there!

Love always,

Kim
